Many thanks to App Gallery Editor!    - Sargis Dallakyan - March 04, 2009

Many thanks to App Gallery Editor for picking this app from many other interesting apps in the Gallery. Just to update on some of the new features; I''ve added Nutrients page with YUI TabView and Calculator page with Flash Calorie Calculator. Also, this app has recently been featured in Yahoo! User Interface Blog: http://yuiblog.com/blog/2009/03/02/wild-20090302/ There are many apps in the App Engine that are using YUI, but this app is the only one I know that uses YUI AutoComplete.

Allow larger font size for older eyes    -  vanhorn232 - March 25, 2009

A huge % of US people are older. Many use glasses or don't need glasses and use drug store "cheater" magnifying glasses. Don't make them go look for their glasses of either kind. Have an easy way to up the magnification of all the content or enlarge all the fonts until they can read it without the glasses. Its easier to leave you than get up (many painful knees and hips in this group). I love your app!! And so will the mothers so careful what their babies/children/family eat.

Thank you very much for the feedback. I'll change the magnification to make it easier to read. Please let me know if you find other problems with this site or if you have any other comments or suggestions.. Thank you.

Functionally Strong, with a Technical Issue    -  consulting@goalstate.com - July 07, 2009

This is a great idea and I have personally bookmarked it for my own use. I did note, however, that each time I enter a food item, the entire page refreshes, which indicates that you are generating your pages in their entirety on the server rather than using a more Ajaxian approach to update just the content that has changed. A good enhancement would be to update just the data for the food item that has been requested, rather than updating the entire page.

Thank you very much for the message. Making this site more Ajaxian is a great suggestion. I'm trying to learn more Ajax myself and I'm also trying to make these pages indexed by search engines. Also, if you are interested contributing context or code, please feel free to contact me at: http://food-prints.appspot.com/feedback I'll be happy to Invite a Developer to Collaborate on this Application. Thank you!
